![]() ![]() ![]() Never really knowing what was around every corner - the sheer randomness of the entire exercise - kept me coming back just as much as the challenge level. Still, I always seemed to have fun playing it even if I never saw the ending or even progressed particularly far. Needless to say, I was unprepared for how appropriate the game’s title would be as a child. At the time, I had little experience with roguelikes and the unique challenges that they bring. Not that it was a bad game, per se, but it felt like a very unfair one. Fatal Labyrinth is another example of a game that I played over and over again out of sheer determination. ![]()
